A small workshop with exacting standards.
Founded in London in the 1980s. We design, fabricate and finish every staircase under one roof, and nothing is subcontracted.
We're sheet-metal workers first. We learned fine joinery because our clients kept asking for it.
Everything is cut, folded and welded in our London workshop, with no production line and nothing subcontracted. Every staircase starts with a site visit and is fitted by the same hands that made it.

Every staircase is bespoke, designed around your home and quoted on its own. There's no fixed price list. We start with a conversation and a site visit, then put together a detailed proposal and quote for your design.
Each staircase is made to order, so timings depend on the design and materials. We only take on a handful of commissions at a time, so it's worth getting in touch early. We'll confirm a schedule with your quote.
Yes. Every staircase is designed and certified to Approved Document K, and you receive the structural calculations and certificates at handover.
Yes. We guarantee both the metalwork and the joinery. Patinated finishes are meant to keep developing, so natural ageing isn't treated as a fault.
